About Me

Dr Sudhahar is a fellowship trained (U.K and India) Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip, knee and Shoulder surgeries, sports medicine and Orthopaedic trauma. He has a particular interest in hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement as well as arthroscopic ligament reconstruction of the knee, shoulder and Ankle.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Coimbatore Medical College (India) in 1995 and then completed his advanced training in Orthopaedic Surgery in India. He migrated to the U.K in 2000.  He further completed advanced training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Mersey Deanery NHS and become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

On completing his Orthopaedic training he took further post–fellowship training in Hip and Knee

arthroplasty at Leicester University Hospital for 1 year in U.K. He also completed a year of post-fellowship training in knee ligament injury and sports medicine in Bradford and Leicester NHS hospitals U.K. He also worked as an Orthopaedic Consultant in the U.K for 3 ½ years in Abderdeen and Wrexham.

 

He moved to Australia in May 2015 as Consultant in Tamworth Base Hospital and completed his FRACS examinations and become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017.

 

He is currently working in Greenslopes Private Hospital, St Andrew's Private Hospital and public appointment in Logan Hospital.

Dr Sudhahar is married with two school aged children. His wife Dr Anusha Sudhahar is a Obstetrics and Gynaecologist in Ipswich Hospital.

He enjoys running, chess, yoga, cooking and spending time with his family.
